01Information we collect
We may collect information needed to provide the parent portal, such as:
- Parent/guardian names and contact information
- Student names, enrollment and program information
- Attendance and check-in/check-out records
- Vacation requests and scheduling information
- Payment records and tax receipt details
- Account access and basic technical/security logs
02How information is used
Information is intended to support center operations, including enrollment, attendance, parent communications, vacation planning, payment administration, tax receipts, account security, and support. It should not be used for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis.
03Children’s information
Student information is handled through accounts intended for authorized parents, guardians, and center staff. Access should be limited according to each person’s role and legitimate need.
04Sharing and service providers
Information may be accessible to the center operator and service providers supporting hosting, messaging, payments, or other portal functions, as applicable. The final policy must identify relevant sharing practices and clarify whether any information is processed outside the user’s jurisdiction.
05Security and access
The platform should use appropriate safeguards, such as authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted connections, and operational monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security.
06Retention and deletion
Records should be retained only for periods justified by operational and legal requirements, including applicable financial and tax obligations. Specific retention periods and deletion processes must be confirmed by the operator.
07Your privacy choices and requests
Parents and guardians may contact the center to request access to or correction of their information, and to ask about other privacy rights available under applicable law. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request.
08Policy changes
If this policy changes, the operator should update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
